Expenses

The workshop, travel, accommodation, and meals are free of charge for all accepted candidates. Travel expenses will be reimbursed after workshop completion.

Selection Process

The selection process will seek participants with the following characteristics:

1. Proficiency in English
2. Early career stage (Ph.D.s, post-docs, junior faculty, master’s students)
3. Disciplines: social sciences; economics and management; engineering
4. Current research in global value chain analysis or cluster analysis and in identified workshop themes
5. High scholarly achievement, as reflected in curriculum vitae, working papers, publications, and conference presentations
6. A clear rationale for how the participants will build upon the research skills and experiences developed during the workshop program

Form Requirements

Potential participants should have all the workshop application documents ready for uploading: Curriculum vitae, passport information, recommendation letter, statement of purpose, publications or working papers or conference presentations.
